HSEQ Advisor

We are currently looking for a degree qualified HSEQ Advisor to join our HSEQ Department in supporting our onshore manufacturing and offshore based work and projects.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis based in our Bibra Lake facility. This role is not a FIFO position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to onshore and offshore activities for HSEQ systems and processes;
  • Actively monitoring HSEQ leading indicators for effective HSEQ practices;
  • Developing, implementing and reviewing all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental and Quality management, including policies, guidelines and processes;
  • Ensure compliance of company, client and statutory standards relating to OHSMS and EMS;
  • Lead and/or participate in incident investigations as required;
  • Participate in audits as required;
  • Co-ordination and delivery of company staff, contractor and visitor safety induction  programmes;
  • Compile HSEQ data and reports to present to management;

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:  

  • Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Diploma level or greater;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a HSEQ capacity, with oil and gas industry preferred but not essential;
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is preferred but not essential;
  • Provide First Aid certificate;
  • Incident Investigation Training (TapRoot and ICAM);
  • Lead Auditor & Internal Auditor training in ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001;
  • Strong time management and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to cope in high pressure situations.

Production Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our well established Production department. This is a permanent full-time position and would suit someone who is looking to specialise in a unique and diverse industry and move beyond normal engineering responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applying project management to turn completed designs into products. Tasks include quoting cost and time required for project, resource planning, procurement of materials and OEM parts, coordinating internal and external suppliers, quality assurance and supervising testing;
  • Reviewing of engineering designs and recommending modifications required for efficient production;
  • Ensure the completion of subcomponents in accordance with the production schedule;
  • Ensuring the quality of produced parts and recommending solutions when quality issues are raised;
  • Monitoring project costs
  • Supervising load tests, pressure tests and factory acceptance tests
  • Managing As Built drawings, compiling Manufacturer’s Data Reports, project files, certification, progress reports;
  • Mentoring and developing of junior team members.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree qualified engineer in mechanical, manufacturing, or mechatronic;
  • Someone with a mechanical trade qualification would be highly advantageous
  • 2-5 years’ experience in an engineering position, preferably involved with manufacturing;
  • Exposure to 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks;
  • Microsoft Office skills including MS Project;
  • Experience using Epicor ERP would be an advantage.

Management Accountant

We have an opportunity for an individual to join our team in the role of Management Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will responsible for ensuring the business meets legislative requirements. This role is offered on a 12 month, fixed term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month end reporting preparation including revenue and cost review on projects and jobs
  • Management reporting development
  • Assist with internal reporting
  • Projects invoicing/costing/ reconciliation and control
  • Assist with ERP Optimisation
  • Preparation of annual financial reporting, including liaising with external auditors
  • Journal entry and controls
  • General ledger reconciliation
  • Accounting system administration, control and development
  • Preparation and management of taxation matters, including GST and FBT
  • Contribute to the Finance team environment, by performing other duties as required.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Must have CA/CPA qualifications, or currently completing same qualifications
  • 7+ years post-graduate experience, including experience in a similar role
  • Oil and gas and/or manufacturing industry experience would be an advantage.
  • Self-motivating with strong time management skills, and methodical and meticulous approach to completing tasks

Senior Procurement Specialist

TMT is currently looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our Purchasing Department. This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis based at our Bibra Lake facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement of multiple commodity categories for bespoke lean manufacturing purposes.
  • Issuing RFQ’s, negotiating price reductions on RFQ receival and payment credit terms where possible.
  • Ensuring supplier acknowledgment of purchase orders, monitoring purchase order due date minimum 48 hours prior to delivery.
  • Reviewing part demand generated from manufacturing and inventory.
  • General purchasing functions across companywide requirements, daily basis.
  • Position coverage for other procurement categories during staff leave.
  • Assistance with planning & scheduling of lower tier manufacturing jobs.
  • Ensure delays and issues with orders and supplier management are escalated immediately, a problem-solving approach preferred.
  • Implement contingency plans and actions for managing long lead time items and parts reaching end of life for inventory purposes.
  • Liaise with relative managers & staff to ensure parts and equipment are delivered to onshore and offshore locations within project schedule deadlines.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers within corporate protocols.
  • Analysing any potential purchasing efficiency gains between TMT Malaysia and TMT Australia sites in either direction, and work closely with Malaysian counterparts in achieving this.
  • Assist with quarterly evaluation of suppliers and after project cool down periods.
  • Support of reconciling any issues with Accounts Payable invoice matching processes.
  • Strong liaison with Project Managers, Job Planners and Finance staff.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Training or strong proven experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement Functions and Principles within a manufacturing environment, preferably for an ISO 9001:2015 accredited entity.
  • ERP Systems.
  • Inventory Planning & Coordination.
  • Supplier Qualification & Evaluation.
  • Vendor Management.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) Qualification.
  • Offshore / Subsea industry sector awareness.
