ROV Supervisor, ROV Sub Engineer or ROV Pilot Technician - Timor-Leste nationals

As a result of upcoming work in the Timor Sea, we currently have opportunities for Timor-Leste nationals to join our team in the roles of either ROV Supervisor, ROV Sub Engineer or ROV Pilot Technician.

Start: July 2021

Duration: up to 45 days

Location: Bayu-Undan (Joint Petroleum Development Area), departing Dili Airport

Requirements:

  • IMCA Competency Certificate at either ROV Supervisor/ROV Sub Engineer/ROV Pilot Technician level
  • OGUK Medical (or willing to complete)
  • FOET or BOSIET (or willing to complete)
  • A minimum of 5 years of prior experience operating ROVs
  • Knowledge of work class ROV systems is a requirement of the role
  • Ability to communicate effectively (English is the predominant language for manuals and technical information)
  • Positive attitude and commitment to occupational health and safety

These employment positions are related to Total Marine Technology Pty Ltd providing ROV personnel for Bayu-Undan operations. As such, Total Marine Technology Pty Ltd is complying with the project holder Santos in giving preference to the employment of Timor-Leste nationals and permanent residents, having due regard to safe and efficient activities and good oilfield practices.

Senior Document Controller

We have an opportunity to join our team in the role of Senior Document Controller. The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis to provide document management and control for our projects and overall company.

Your main responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Manage and maintain all controlled company documents
  • Maintenance of the document control register, for both company and projects;
  • Oversee the document management system (SharePoint) and processes to ensure correct handling of documents.
  • Review and editing of documents to ensure quality and compliance;
  • Tracking all project document submissions;
  • Provide input into process improvements;
  • Assist the technical writer with the writing of project documents;
  • Assist with project close out documents.
  • Support tendering process in standardising templates for submission;
  • Support tendering process in coordinating tender submissions;

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years in a similar role;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business are desirable but not essential;
  • Strong working knowledge of Document Management Systems;
  • A high level of computer literacy in all MS Office applications, specifically SharePoint;
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written);
  • Strong attention to detail;

Workshop Trades Assistant

We have an opportunity to join our team in the role of Workshop Trades Assistant. The position is offered on a casual basis.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must hold a current driver’s licence and forklift licence;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a workshop environment as a Trades Assistant;
  • Prior experience with fabrication duties;
  • Excellent communication ability (both written and verbal);
  • Well rounded time management and organisational abilities;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Work Safely at Heights training;
  • Experience with electric forklift operation;
  • Experience in logistics, including goods inward and outward handling, and packing/packaging for warehouse storage;
  • Experience with accurate data entry, ideally into a purchasing/ERP system;
  • Experience with domestic road and air logistics.

Accounts Payable Officer

TMT is always looking for knowledgeable and hardworking individuals who possess the drive and determination to perform well in the subsea industry. We have an opportunity for such an individual to join our team in the role of Accounts Payable Officer. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will responsible for ensuring the business meets legislative requirements. This role is offered on a part time basis (24-32 hours per week) for a period of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Accounts Payable function, including matching and entering invoices, creditor account reconciliation, and resolving creditor enquiries;
  • Ensuring invoices are allocation correctly within our ERP system;
  • Maintaining Goods received but not invoiced report;
  • Processing GL entries;
  • Processing of bank transactions, and ad-hoc vendor payments as required.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting, alternatively tertiary qualifications in Accounting are preferred but not essential;
  • 5 years bookkeeping experience, or 2 years accounting/finance experience;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Hydraulic Fitter

Due to expected increases in production and workshop activity, TMT is currently looking for a qualified Hydraulic/Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. 

Applicants should note that this is a Perth based workshop based position. 

Job Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in mechanical fitting
  • Certificate IV in Fluid Power (desirable)
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with hydraulics:
    • Experience with flushing, pressure testing, and function testing of hydraulic systems;
    • Experience with the operation and maintenance of air-driven tools, pumps and motors;
    • Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems including fittings, hoses, valves, regulators, and other components;
    • Experience with the operation and maintenance of subsea oil and gas equipment, including HPUs, umbilicals, and accumulators
  • Work Safely at Heights training
  • A current forklift HRW licence is desirable
  • Previous experience working in an offshore capacity is desirable but not essential
  • Commitment to safety with an understanding of industry-standard safety protocols
