Huge Increase in AOG Visitors This Year

The 2014 Australian Oil and Gas Expo was a big success for TMT.

We had a new eye catching exhibit featuring Typhoon 14 which attracted a massive amount of attention. It seems that everyone loves to get up close and touch the big machines. And it was a good year to have the ROV there as visitor numbers to the AOG increased by 27% from last year up to 14,500.

The complete range of TMT Torque Tools were on display. The new Electric Torque Tool was especially busy with some serious enquiries and the Hydraulic Torque Tool MK2 was attracting a crowd every time it was demonstrated with design engineer Sean Killen on hand to answer the hard questions.

Over the years our presence at the AOG has been a very good way to show what can be achieved here in WA, with many people amazed that the Typhoon ROV is designed and built locally. Why is it so hard to believe that West Australians produce a world beating product? TMT has been doing just that every day and at next year's AOG we will be bringing more proof of our world class design and manufacturing abilities.
