Apprentice (Electronic Technician)

We have an opportunity to join our team in the role of Apprentice (Electronic Technician) to work on current and the next generation of 6000 meter depth capable ROVs (Remote Operated Vehicles) and subsea tooling.
 
The role is a 4 year apprenticeship.
 

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • A commitment to work safely and working within your limits
  • Completion of Year 12 VET or Science based study
  • A strong interest in electronics with experience in Arduine/Raspberry Pi or similar
  • Good mechanical aptitude with a willingness to get dirty and greasy
  • Ability to commit to a 4 year apprenticeship and regular TAFE courses throughout the year
  • A team player and willing to follow direction and instruction
  • Willing to adhere to the company's high quality standard and to continually improve their standard of work

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • School/home hobby robotics building
  • Hobby 3D printer building/operation
