TMT Conducts Typhoon Wet Test

 

Total Marine Technology has successfully wet-tested its newest workclass ROV, the Typhoon on the 16th of October 2009. This test represents the full setup of shack, winch and ROV as it would be installed offshore. The ROV was lowered into a 3m cylindrical test tank within the TMT workshop premises, the Typhoon exceeded initial expectations and full functionality of all attached equipment such as the thrusters, cameras, lights, manipulators and instruments were achieved.
