Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer. The position is offered on a full-time, 12 month fixed-term basis.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • Designing surface power systems for underwater robotic vehicles;
  • Ensuring designs conform to relevant standards;
  • Checking authority for drawings;
  • Assisting in the preparation of engineering project proposals;
  • Coordinating technical activities between engineering disciplines on assigned projects;
  • Attending project meetings and offering information specific to assigned projects;
  • Preparing procedures, manuals, project files.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor degree in electrical engineering;
  • 7+ years of electrical design experience;
  • Experience with LV and MV power systems design;
  • Hazardous area design experience;
  • AutoCAD experience;
  • ETAP experience;
  • Microsoft Project experience;
  • Good project management skills;
  • Motivated and enthusiastic;
  • Experience in the ROV, marine, or oil and gas industry.
Purchasing and Administration Officer

Position Responsibilities:

 

·         Purchase order distribution to suppliers;

·         Monitoring purchase order progress and closure through generation

          and evaluation of ERP reports;

·         Reconciliation of all purchase orders;

·         Assisting with the supplier application, administration, and

          qualification process;

·         Developing relationships with suppliers and negotiating pricing;

·         Assisting with the improvement of processes and procedures;

·         Training of staff in Epicor;

·         Liaising with ERP Department on processing issues within ERP systems.

 

Essential Requirements:

 

·         Applicable tertiary qualification;

·         3 years of experience in an administrative position, ideally within

          a procurement or accounts payable discipline;

·         Experience dealing with internal and external customers;

·         Experience with supplier qualification (preferred).

·         Knowledge of purchasing systems (ERP systems);

·         Organisation and task prioritisation skills;

·         High attention to detail.

 

This is a full-time position, however flexible working hours will be considered for the right candidate.
