Technical Procurement Specialist
We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Procurement Specialist to support the day-to-day procurement activities for various departments. Beyond these tasks the candidate will assist with streamlining the current procurement workflow and relevant ERP modules.
The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis with career development opportunities for the right person. Ongoing mentoring and training will be provided.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist Production and other departments with the procurement of materials and components by identifying requirement, gathering quotes and raising RTPs
  • Issuing and monitoring of purchase orders as well as their reconciliation
  • Assisting with the supplier application, administration and qualification process
  • Assisting with the improvement of processes and procedures
  • Liaising with ERP Department to improve relevant modules
  • Purchasing data analysis to identify required inventory levels for key components
  • Plan, execute and supervise stocktakes as required


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Trade qualification (either mechanical or electrical trade)
  • Experience in a technical subject, such as engineering
  • 2-5 years of Oil and Gas industry experience is preferable
  • Exposure to both engineering (desirable) and workshop (essential) environments
  • Experience with ERP software (Epicor preferred)
  • Experience with supplier management
  • Organisation and task prioritisation skills
  • High attention to detail

Senior Project Planner/Cost Controller
We have an opportunity to join our team in the role of Senior Project Planner/Cost Controller. The position is offered on a full-time, 12 month fixed-term basis (with possibility of extension).

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing concise planning reports on a regular basis
  • Developing project execution plans
  • Developing and maintaining project planning and execution schedules in Microsoft Project
  • Developing and maintaining project budgets and cost trackers
  • Developing project costing estimates during tender phase
  • Developing monthly expenditure and commitment forecasts
  • Developing and maintaining real time tracking tools for resource forecasting
  • Analysing project performance, critical path and earned value
  • Focal point for project module in the ERP system, which will include training other personnel
  • Assisting with the PMO at TMT
  • Assisting in further implementation of Lean systems


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering and/or Commerce
  • Knowledge and experience in planning/scheduling, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position
  • Experience with project management in a multi-disciplinary technical environment
  • Thorough and extensive knowledge of project controls principles, theories and concepts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and self-motivated


Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with the subsea Oil & Gas industry
  • Contracts management experience
  • Experience with P6 and interfacing with MS Project
  • Experience with ERP system, Epicor
  • Experience in Defence related projects

Operations Administrator
We have an opportunity to join our team in the role of Operations Administrator. The position is offered on a permanent part time basis. Hours of work are flexible for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing offshore crew requirements and maintain up to date rosters and records of personnel availability
  • Managing and maintaining the training and competency records for offshore employees
  • Mobilisation administration for crews performing remote and offshore work (booking and coordinating travel, accommodation and car hire)
  • Collation, distribution and data entry for reports and records (including report collation for Payroll)
  • Managing and maintaining the Operations Database, including Daily Reports, Maintenance Logs and Client Reports
  • Assisting the Operations Manager, the HR Department and CEO with other duties as required
  • General office management to ensure the TMT office functions efficiently and effectively
  • Assisting with the organisation of meetings/events subject to workload
  • Reception cover as required



  • 3-5 years experience in a similar position
  • Oil & Gas experience is preferred

EOI - Production Engineer
Due to upcoming projects we are seeking expressions of interest for suitable experienced engineers to join our well-established Production Engineering team. The scope of work would suit someone who is looking to specialise in a unique and diverse industry and move beyond normal engineering responsibilities.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Turning designs into products via project management; tasks include creating and maintaining Microsoft Project plans, resource planning, procurement of materials and parts, coordinating internal and externat suppliers and reporting progress to project leads.
  • Reviewing of engineering designs and recommending modifications required for efficient production
  • Assisting as design draftsman when required
  • Organising production of components to be delivered in accordance with the production schedule
  • Monitoring quality of production parts and recommending  solutions when quality issues are raised
  • Monitoring project costs
  • Conducting load tests, pressure tests and factory acceptance tests
  • Managing As Built drawings, compiling Manufacturer's Data Reports, project files, certification, progress reports
  • Mentoring and developing of junior team members


Essential Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified engineer in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Mechatronic
  • 2-5 years' experience in an engineering position, preferably involved with manufacturing
  • Exposure to 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
  • Microsoft Office skills including MS Project
  • Drafting skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good time management


Experience using Epicore would be an advantage.

Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer
TMT (Part of Sapura Energy Well Services) are looking for dedicated, creative locally-based people who want to thrive in the growing field of Light Well Intervention. Work involves engineering, customising and preparing our field proven Light Well Intervention spread for various campaigns, and then going offshore to manage and operate the equipment.


We need primarily Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineers, but also Subsea Supervisors and Technicians with experience in:

  • Subsea Riserless Light Well Intervention
  • Subsea IWOCS, XT or BOP (electro) hydraulic controls
  • Offshore E-Line and Slickline operations
  • Subsea completions and workovers


Engineering Capability & Experience:

  • Degree plus 5 - 10 years relevant experience
  • SolidWorks modelling and draughting
  • Stress analysis
  • Materials selection
  • Subsea Applications and tooling design
  • Writing reports, work instructions, procedures, manuals etc.
  • Familiar with API, DNV & other standards related to the Oil & Gas industry

Hydraulics/Pressure Vessel Engineer

The need: 

Total Marine Technology, as an Approved Subcontractor, is part of the team designing and building the next generation of Submarine Rescue Service for the Commonwealth of Australia supporting the Royal Australian Navy.  
Therefore, we are currently seeking an experienced Hydraulics/Pressure Vessel Engineer. 
The position is offered on a full-time, permanent or 12-month fixed term basis to the right candidate with minimum PR visa who are also eligible for Australian citizenship. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Undertake hydraulics design and analysis of machines primarily used subsea 
  • Selection and/or design of hydraulics components 
  • Pressure vessel calculations (internal or external, static, dynamic, fatigue), FEA or hand calculations 
  • Drafting of assemblies 
  • Drawing of hydraulic schematics 
  • Detailed design of subsea tooling hydraulics and/or ROV, LWI related hydraulic systems 
  • Writing work instructions and procedures and liaising with technical writer 
  • Reporting to project lead, liaising with peer engineers in design 
  • Occasional offshore work 

What you will bring: 

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering discipline 
  • 3+ years of hydraulics design experience 
  • The ‘spark’ of creativity coupled with resourcefulness 
  • Solid understanding of GD&T 
  • High attention to details and understanding how system components interface and interact 
  • Proficient user of 3D CAD package(s), ideally SolidWorks 
  • Proficient user of 2D CAD package such as AutoCAD/HyDraw 
  • Understanding and solid knowledge of BPVCs such as ASME Section VIII including stress linearization 
  • Awareness of AS, DNV, API and ISO drawing standards 
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at a time 
  • Perseverant and conscientious mind 
  • Ideally subsea design experience is preferred 
  • Candidates with fluid dynamics and CFD experience are encouraged to apply as the role may be flexible enough to suit the right candidate
