Procurement Officer

We are seeking a Procurement Officer to join our Purchasing and Logistics team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our production engineers and other departments where required to procure goods, materials, and services essential for our engineering projects. This role requires an understanding of manufacturing processes servicing the subsea or mining industry sectors.

You will be doing.

  • Management and completion of sourcing and procurement related tasks.
  • Assisting Production and Purchasing manager with the development of processes and procedures.
  • Assisting Production department and workshop with the procurement of OEM parts, materials, and services.
  • Assist in developing supplier management system and administering supplier application/qualification process.
  • Analyse relevant purchasing and supplier data, identify ideal inventory levels for key components and materials.
  • Liaising with ERP team to streamline relevant modules.
  • Back-up duties and coverage where required of purchasing administration.
  • Helping to ensure that the company receives competitive prices and quality of product were involved with supplier prior to work commencing. 
  • Ensure the continuity of various departments by ‘on-time’ delivery.
  • Management and completion of inventory planning, stocktakes and analysis.
  • Management of external suppliers.
  • Forecasting, process streamlining and continuous improvement of the purchasing workflow.

You will bring.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant role with exposure to an engineering and workshop environments.
  • Experience with the procurement of bill of materials inclusive of goods, materials, services, and supplier qualification and management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Accounts Receivable Officer

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team. This role is instrumental in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts receivable processes. This position is offered on a Permanent, Full-Time basis at our Bibra Lake office.   

You’ll be doing.

  • Generate and send invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all invoices are complete and compliant with company policies and customer requirements.
  • Processing relevant AR and GL entries.
  • Preparing debtors reconciliations, and other GL account reconciliations, if applicable.
  • Liaising with clients to resolve all invoicing queries and disputes.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as assets, to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Receive and record payments from customers.
  • Reconcile payments received with outstanding invoices.
  • Process payment refunds or adjustments when necessary.
  • Regularly reconcile customer accounts to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to customer accounts.
  • Work with customers to establish payment arrangements or resolve payment issues.

You’ll bring.

  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or proven experience in accounts receivable, finance, or a related role.
  • Exposure to MYOB and Epicor.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to accounts receivable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Processing invoices accurately and collecting payments from debtors.

Production Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Production Engineer to join our team. This position is offered on a Permanent, Full-Time basis in Bibra Lake.

You’ll be doing.

  • Applying project management to turn completed designs into products – tasks include quoting cost and time required for project, resource planning, procurement of materials and OEM parts, coordinating internal and external suppliers, quality assurance and supervising testing.
  • Ensure the completion of subcomponents in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Ensuring the quality of produced parts and recommending solutions when quality issues are raised.
  • Monitoring project costs.
  • Supervising load tests, pressure tests and factory acceptance tests.
  • Managing As Built drawings, compiling Manufacturer’s Data Reports, project files, certification, progress reports.
  • Mentoring and developing of junior team members.

You’ll bring.

  • Degree qualified engineer in mechanical, manufacturing, or mechatronic.
  • Mechanical trade qualification would be highly advantageous.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in an engineering position, preferably involved with manufacturing.
  • Exposure to 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Microsoft Office skills including MS Project.
  • Experience using Epicor ERP would be an advantage.
